Mosaic: New Leopard Screen Saver

One of the new features in OS X 10.5 is the ability to display a Mosaic screen saver from a group of pictures. The mosaic feature can be difficult to find. Here is how to enable it.


When I first tell people about the cool new Mosaic screen saver, they often have problems finding it. It’s listed as a Display Option instead of being in the Screen Saver list.

1. Open System Preferences
2. Select Desktop & Screen Saver
3. Select the Screen Saver tab
4. Select one of your images folders in the left hand column
5. Select Mosaic as a Display Option as documented in the screenie below…

    yeah, but even though I have almost 200 pictures (jpeg mostly) in the folder I choose, it still says I need to have 100 to use the mosaic feature? What do I do?
