Access 2007: Use the New AutoFormat Themes
Access 2007 has introduced 25 new AutoFormat themes to be used on forms and reports. AutoFormat themes can be used to give your applications and/or reports a more professional look and feel with little effort on your part. To utilize AutoFormat themes…
1. Open a Form or Report.
2. While in the Form designer (or Report designer), select the Format tab.
3. Click AutoFormat and select a theme.
4. AutoPreview will allow to see how your form (or report) will look with the applied theme.
5. After you have applied the theme you desire, save the form (or report).

What could keep the AutoFormat from being applied to my forms. It is doing the headers but the body is not changing. It is staying the orginal Dark Blue.

Too late to help this user, but for others stumbeling over it:
to be applied to the whole form, make sure to mark the whole form before applying via the little square in the upper left corner, between the horizontal and vertical rulers.
If you have just a single item like a control selected, the autoform will just apply to that particular control.

When converting to Access 2007, I want to convert all forms to the same format. Is there a one-step method, or do all forms have to be separately converted?

If you’re having trouble with formatting your forms with AutoFormat, make sure your image storage settings are correct
Access Options -> Current Database tab -> under Picture Property Storage Format, select ‘Preserve source image format’
