Windows XP: Repairing Internet Explorer (IE)

If you need to repair your Internet Explorer, follow the steps in this tutorial.


1. Insert your Windows XP CD.

2. Click your Start button, and select Run.

3. Type cmd and OK.

4. At the command prompt, type the following:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.inf
