With Chrome being in its early stages, there will be plenty of updates to the browser. To force the browser to check for a newer version (and install it) follow these steps.

1. Open Google Chrome.

2. Click the wrench icon in the upper-right corner of the toolbar and select About Google Chrome.

3. When the About Google Chrome window launches, it will check to see if there is a newer version available.

4. If there is a newer version, an Update Now button will appear. Click the button to install the new version.
