Leopard: Get More Out of the Trackpad

If you rely on the Trackpad instead of a mouse, you should explore the options that are available to increase its functionality and increase your productivity.


1. Open System Preferences.

2. In the Hardware section, select Keyboard & Mouse.

3. Select the Trackpad tab.

4. You will find some very helpful options to add to your Trackpad’s functionality. These include:

Use two fingers to scroll and allowing horizontal scrolling

Click and drag assistance

Applying secondary clicks without using the Ctrl key

Plus you can increase/decrease your tracking speed, double-click speed and scrolling speed.
