XP Pro: How To Change Your Network Password

This tech-recipe explains how a user can change his network password in Windows XP Professional.


1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the Windows Security dialog box

2. Click Change Password to get to the Change Password dialog box

3. Input your current password into the Old Password text box

4. Input the desired new password into the New Password text box and type it again into the Confirm New Password text box.

5. Click OK.

Your password is now changed.
