Outlook 2007: Apply a Theme to All New Messages

If you’re bored with the look and feel of your email messages, you might want to consider using the themes in Outlook. By selecting a default theme, you can add a little personality to your messages. The theme will be applied to all new HTML email messages.

1. Go to the menu, click Tools and select Options.

2. In the Options window, select the Mail Format tab.

3. Go to the Stationery and Fonts section and click the Stationery and Fonts button.

4. Click the Theme button.

5. Using the left pane, select the desired theme. You will see an example of the theme displayed in the right pane. You can alter the look of the theme by checking/unchecking the Vivid Colors, Active Graphics, and Background Image checkboxes.

6. When you have the look you are searching for, click the OK button.

All new HTML email messages will use the selected theme. If you want to return to the original basic look, simply repeat the above steps and select [b](No Theme) from the list of available themes.
