Customize the appearance of Internet Explorer and Outlook Express!

This will not work on xp home as only xp pro and above includes gpedit.msc.

start by opening Group Policy Editor:
1) start\run
2) type 'gpedit.msc'

next open the following path:
3) User Configuration\Windows Settings\Internet Explorer Maintenance\Browser User Interface

There should be 3 items listed in the right hand pane:
4) Browser Title
*This allows you to apply text to the end of your Internet Explorer titlebar. The text will be displayed as: Microsoft Internet Explorer provided by YOUR TEXT.
*Be sure to check the box first to activate the textfield

5) Custom Logo
*Here you can replace the logos (small 22x22 and large 38x38) by choosing the path of the logos you want
*You can also replace the animated graphics associated with both programs (small 22x22 and large 38x38)
NOTE these pictures must be 16-colour and and in bitmap format.

6) Browser Toolbar Customization
*This will allow you to change the background picture in the toolbar
*Also allows you to remove the current buttons and add your own
NOTE again it must be a 16-colour bitmap image, but there is no size restruction here, only for asthetic purposes.
