Speed up Sidekick web browsing

Web browsing too slow on your sidekick? Here are a couple of tips.

First, if a site has a “palm” or “handheld” version, these will generally load much faster and look better.

The Sidekick will also let you “Go To” a URL, then while that is accessing and loading, click the jump button and use another app. The Sidekick will inform you when the page is loaded, click the jump button and choose “Web Browser” to see the page.

While in the web browser, click the menu button, choose settings. Here you can set your home page and an alert when a page has finished loading. I recommend using one that just blinks the wheel.

If you’re really bent on speed, you can disable images from these settings as well.
