Outlook 2007: Remove the Instant Search Prompt
This recipe shows how to remove that annoying instant search prompt from Outlook 2007.
In Outlook 2007, go to Tools > Options > Other tab
Click on the Advanced Options button.
uncheck the “Show prompts for Instant Search” and then click OK on the screens.
Voila! no more annoying instant search prompts!

This completely Worked for me. In a matter of just a few seconds I had the “Enable Instant Search” bar gone.
