Google Spreadsheets: How To Add Multiple Lines in the Same Cell

Google Spreadsheets allows you to have multiple lines in the same cell, this is useful for items such as addresses.


Type in your data and use Alt+Enter (Option+Enter if you are using a Mac) to add a new line in the same cell.

    As of 1/29/2010, you should use ctrl-enter to put multi lines in a cell
