Winamp 5 installs shell extensions to Windows Explorer, for right-clicking multimedia files to play or enqueue, or to add to the Winamp bookmarks list. To clean this up:

1. Right-click on Winamp’s title bar.

2. Click Options then select Preferences.

3. In the Winamp Preferences dialog box, under General Preferences, select File Types.

4. Uncheck the Show Winamp in folder context menus in Windows Explorer checkbox.

5. Click Close.
