Leopard: How to Locate the AirPort MAC Address
Posted May 13, 2008 by Rob Rogers in Mac OS X Leopard
If your wireless router or access point has MAC address filtering enabled, you will need to know the AirPort MAC address so that it can be added to the router configuration.
1. Go to System Preferences.
2. In the Internet & Network section, select Network.
3. On the left side, select AirPort.
4. On the right side, click the Advanced button.
5. Make sure you have the AirPort tab selected. At the bottom, next to AirPort ID, you will see the MAC Address.
