Google Trick: Display Web Page Information

This Google search tool gives you quick links to various information about a URL.

I use Google to see how our site is doing in the search engine, but it is difficult for me to remember all the search tools.

When you use “info:” to preface a search, Google will show you links that give you access to various other Google power searches. For example, take the following Google search:

info:www.tech-recipes.com

This gives you the following links:

    – Google cache of the site
    – Pages that are similar to the site
    – Pages that link to the URL
    – Pages that contain the URL for which you searched

This trick is beneficial to me, and I use it frequently because it allows to me see all the different ways that Google references my site. Plus, I do not have to remember the syntax for each of these searches separately. I can find these four searches in one place.
