Google: How to Disable SearchWiki

Google’s SearchWiki allows you to customize your web search results by ranking them, adding notes to them and even removing them. If you don’t use any of SearchWiki’s functionality, you can disable it so that the various icons won’t show on your search results.

1. Go to Google.

2. Select Preferences.

3. Scroll down to the SearchWiki section.

4. Check the Hide the ability to share, promote, remove, comment, or add your own results checkbox.

5. Click the Save Preferences button.
