Some users may see this error when trying to load web pages after the installation of SP2.

SP2 is much more about security. You know, however, that it is going to be about bugs as well.

One bug that is seen is "The page cannot be displayed" errors after the installation of SP2. The bug seems to be related to the pop-up blocker.

If you have this problem, disable the pop-up blocker and the problem should be decreased. Here's the recipe for turning it off:

http://www.tech-recipes.com/windows_tips551.html

Hopefully microsoft will release a fix for this soon. You can stick with google's pop-up blocker until then.

Sadly, this doesn't completely fix the problem. Often pages will need to be refreshed repeatedly to get it to load. The problem can also be seen in browsers other than IE including mozilla/firefox. Turning off SP2's firewall does not seem to make a difference.

Resetting your security in your web content zones seems to help some as well. Cleaning the dns cache seems to help as well.

If we find a definitive fix, we'll post it here.
