Kindle 2: How to Switch Between Portrait and Landscape Modes

With the installation of the 2.3 update, you can rotate your screen so that you can view webpages, books and PDF files in landscape mode. This is a great addition for viewing wide pages.

1. Go to the Kindle keyboard and press the Text key. It is located to the right of the space bar.

2. Use the 5-way Controller to select the desired option for screen display.

3. Press the 5-way Controller to initiate the chosen option.

Your page display will go from a portrait view

to a landscape view.

To return to the original screen orientation, repeat the above steps and select the appropriate option.
