It can be quite helpful to have a printout of all the comments that have been inserted on a worksheet. This way you have a hard copy to use as you make any necessary changes to the worksheet.

1. Open the desired worksheet.

2. Go to the Ribbon and select the Page Layout tab.

3. Go the bottom-right corner of the Page Layout section and click the small icon.

4. When the Page Setup dialog box appears, select the Sheet tab.

5. Use the Comments dropdown to select how you want the comments printed. Options are None, At end of sheet, and As displayed on sheet.

6. Click the OK button.

Now when you print the spreadsheet, the comments will be included.

Didn’t work for me either. Only works for displaying the comments as they are shown on the sheet, not for the list at the bottom.

It works as displayed on the sheet if you go first to the REVIEW tab and click on SHOW COMMENTS and then go to PAGE LAYOUT –> PAGE SET UP –> SHEET –> COMMENTS –> AS DISPLAYED. Try this and it should work.
