Kindle for iPad: Change the View Options for Better Readability

Depending on the user and the reading environment, the default settings for your Kindle app may not be ideal for optimal readability. By changing the View Options, you can change the font size, adjust the screen brightness and/or the background color, you can adjust the application to be perfect for reading your e-books.

1. Open the Kindle app.

2. Select a book to open it.

3. When the book opens, tap the middle of the screen. Go to the bottom of the screen and tap the font icon.

4. The top row allows you to select the desired font size. The middle row allows for changing background color to white, black or sepia. The slider at the bottom is for increasing or decreasing the screen brightness.

5. Tap the screen to return to the book using your new settings.
