Kindle for Android: Use the Volume Buttons to Turn Pages
Posted by Rob Rogers in Android
By enabling the volume buttons to turn pages, you can easily enjoy your reading using just one hand, no need to swipe across the screen. This is great for reading at meal time.
1. Open Kindle for Android on your device.
2. Tap the device’s Menu button.
3. Select More.

4. Select Settings.

5. Check the Volume Buttons Control checkbox.

But you don’t need to swipe your finger across the screen to turn pages – you just need to touch the very edge of the screen. Granted this may work less well on phone with poor quality touch screens but on my HTC desire HD it only takes the smallest touch on the edge of the screen. Certainly easier than pressing the volume button.
