PowerPoint 2003: How to Embed TrueType Fonts

Using a nonstandard TrueType font in a presentation that you are going to send to another user (or run on another computer) will result in the formatting being incorrect if the other computer does not have the font installed. To prevent this problem, embed your TrueType fonts with the presentation when you save it.

To embed a TrueType font in a presentation, use the following steps:

1. Click Tools, and select Options.

2. In the Options dialog box, click the Save tab.

3. Under Font options for current document only, check the Embed TrueType Fonts check box. If the presentation will be edited on another computer, select the Embed All Characters option. (Otherwise, select Embed Characters In Use Only).
