Tablet PC: Disable the Tablet Input Panel

Tagged: Windows To remove the Tablet Input Panel from the taskbar you can unregister the code that causes it to be automatically loaded when Windows starts. Do the following:
1. Click the Start button.
2. Select Run.
3. Type the following: regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\tipband.dll"
4. Click OK.
5. Reboot
To restore the Tablet Input Panel:
1. Click the Start button.
2. Select Run.
3. Type the following: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Ink\tipband.dll"
4. Click OK.
5. Reboot

Vista SP1 — Have taken ownership of folder, Given full right to Administrators and Users, I am receiving the following error when trying to unregister
The Module “C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedInktipband.dll” was loaded but the call DLLunregisterServer failed with error code 0×80004005.
