This recipe explains how to remove the Goodlink email client from a Palm Treo 600/650/700P w/o doing a full hard reset.

To remove the goodlink client from a Treo phone. Do the following.

(Treo 650 used as example).

Go to the Palm Home screen and hit your Menu button.

Go to the App> Delete.

This will bring up a list of installed applications that may show as such, go to the very top of the list and you'll see this:

Delete From: Phone
Free Space: xx M of XX M

You cannot delete the app listed as: Goodlink or Good (shows w/the Palm 700P ) until each of the goodlink components are removed.

To remove each of the goodlink components (listed directly underneath w/a space in front of the app name), click on them and then hit the Delete button.
Once they are all removed we will need to soft reset (using the reset hole/button under the battery cover).

Now go back into the Home screen and App > Delete and you can remove the Good/Goodlink at the top and now all Goodlink components have been removed in case you need to reinstall goodlink for a different user or do not need it.

Notes:

A hard-reset of course will do the same thing except you lose EVERYTHING on the device. If you were do a hotsync and backup the device before the hardreset; be sure to uncheck Goodlink in the Hotsync utility or it will reinstall Goodlink when you sync up the Treo after the hardreset.
