Firefox: Have New Tabs Open to Home (or any other) Page

When I open a new tab, 9 out of 10 times I want it to open to google. Firefox will not open a page by default when you open a tab. Here is how to change that.

I click a new tab in firefox. There opens a blank, untitled page. Quick, but YAWN!

By using tab mix plus extension for firefox, you can change this.

1. Download and install the extension
2. Click Tools
3. Select Tab Mix Plus Options
4. Click Events
5. Click Tab Opening tab
6. In the Load on New Tabs dropdown box select Home

If you want to open to another page other than your home page, select User Location and enter whatever page you wish.
