Microsoft Word 2003: Obtain the Current Document’s File Size

Working on a Word document and wondering what the file size is? You can view the document size from inside Word without having to go to Explorer to get the information. This tutorial describes how to do it.


1. Save the current document by clicking File and then Save.

2. Once the file has been saved, click File and then Properties.

3. In the Properties dialog box, select General.

Next to Size, you can view the current document’s file size.
