With Macromedia Designer, you can use Find and Replace to change the color of text, fills, strokes, or a combination of these. You cannot find and replace colors in grouped objects. To find and replace a color, use the steps below.
1. In Macromedia Designer, click Edit, and then select Find and Replace.
2. Select Color from the pop-up menu.
3. To search for a color, click the Color control, and do one of the following:
- –Select a color from the color pop-up window.
–Drag from the Color control to use the eyedropper tool, and select any color on the screen.
–Enter a hex color value in the Hex Edit text box in the color pop-up window.
–Click the Color Picker button, and select a color.
4. To select a color to use in replacing the specified color, click the Color control under Replace With, and do one following:
- –Select a color from the color pop-up window.
–Drag from the Color control to use the eyedropper tool, and select any color on the screen.
–Enter a hex color value in the Hex Edit text box in the color pop-up window.
–Click the Color Picker button, and select a color.
5. Select the Fills, Strokes, or Text option (or a combination) to specify where you want the color to be found and replaced.
6. Select Live Edit to select the next occurrence on the Stage and edit it in place.
7. To find a color, click Find Next to find the next occurrence, or click Find All to find all occurrences.
8. To replace a color, click Replace to replace the currently selected occurrence, or click Replace All to replace all occurrences.
