Show Hidden Applications in Blackberry Home Screen

If you (or your seven-year-old) have hidden applications on your Blackberry, it is simple to view them again. This Tech-Recipes tutorial explains how this is done.

You can use these instructions to view applications that have been inadvertantly hidden on your Blackberry.

From the home screen, press the alt key (crescent moon) and press the scroll wheel. In the menu that pops up, select Show All and click the scroll wheel. Applications that are hidden are now visible and have an X through them.

To make hidden applications invisible again, repeat the process above.

on the curve 9300, clicking the menu (blackberry key) anywhere on the home screen brings up the show all option. Hidden icons appear greyed out until you cursor over them and click menu again to toggle “hide” on or off.

Go into your application list and hit menu>Show All. Then highlight the missing icon and hit Menu> (and uncheck Hide Icon)

The “show all” will only appear if you have a hidden icon. If you did not hide anything, the “show all” will not appear. OF COURSE! It’s all icons are already shown! That’s why people said it doesn’t work! It works on my 8520, 9360, 9810. (Not Show Of ( Not all are mine))

I downloaded the last upgrade for BB app world.. all of my hidden icons appeared and my BB app world disappered. So I figured out hose to go back to hiding the icons that were flagged as ‘hidden’, but even when showing ‘Show All’ the BB App World isn’t appearing. Help! note: I know it’s installed because when I went to download it I was prompted that I already had version 4.xxx did I want to replace it; which I did. Thanks for any help. Oh.. BB Torch 9800.

    Blackberry Bold 9780
As many of you, I’ve lost a recently downloaded app, the Blackberry app world to be exact, and although I can see it in the Application Management folder of the device, I simply can’t find it to use it. I’ve already gone through the “Show All” process and looked into every folder and just can’t find it. does any one know what should be done?
