Facebook: How to See Wall Posts from All of Your Friends and Liked Pages

Posted February 12, 2011 by Rob Rogers in Internet

By default, Facebook has your Wall set to only display posts on your Wall from Friends and Pages that you interact with most. Unfortunately, you might be missing posts from people or pages that you care about, by thinking that they just have nothing to say. Here’s how to change this. (Note: This will not make changes to the friends and pages that you have chosen to hide from your wall).

1. Go to Facebook and login to your account.

2. Go to the bottom of the Home page (the very bottom, it may take more than one try as the page continues to populate the posts on your wall).

3. Select Edit Options.

4. Click the Show posts from dropdown and select All of your friends and pages.

5. Click the Save button.

This option doesn’t exist on my FB page. When I hit Edit it just shows me who I have asked to HIDE posts from ….I don’t get the option you described above to show posts from “all friends and pages” – is this new in 2012?

Same here. I used to receive posts from a page I ‘liked’ but I stopped receiving them at all a couple of months ago. The Edit Options at the bottom of the wall feed just shows who I’m hiding posts from (which is no one) – there are no other options.

I have to say “f facebook for removing this option”. I will just download it all with my app and not use their website anymore. I missed people’s fing weddings and everything from this.

I only have the option to “Hide Posts From,” not “Show Posts From.” Is there somewhere else where I can update to see all of my friends’ updates? Thank you!

I keep scrolling, and scrolling, and scrolling down and it keeps giving me news feeds after news feeds not allowing me to select edit options. I scrolled all the way down to over a week ago

Well i tried the “edit options” idea but i only get the screen of who i blocked from seeing. I still dont have the see everyones post button. and on top of that with one of my friends i can only see my own posts

  • david

sadly the edit options button doesnt do that for me, just offers to unblock posts from preblocked people of which i have none. i cant see anything on my friends wall except my own posts!

I only realised so much was being filtered out when I set up the social media program HootSuite. It showed me all the posts I SHOULD be getting rather than the limited number I am getting. I have to say, if they are trying to only show what I would want then they are failing. The posts that are being hidden are definitely ones I would want to see.

It’s a good suggestion, but I can’t actually get to the bottom of my wall yet, FB seem to have made it impossible. I’ll try a few more times. I wonder….are FB trying to save money on bandwidth? Ha!

This doesn’t work. You can never get to the bottom of the page because it just keeps adding more posts.
