Kubuntu: Use Shade Instead of Maximize when Double-Clicking the Titlebar

Change the double-click action for window titlebars from maximize (which there is already a button for) to Shade. Shade pulls the window up into the titlebar to free up room on the desktop. To change the double-click setting, do the following:

1. Click the K Menu.

2. Select System Settings.

3. Under Look & Feel, select Window Behavior.

4. Select Window Behavior in the left pane.

5. Click the Titlebar Actions tab.

6. Select Shade from the Titlebar double-click dropdown.

7. Click the Apply button.

8. Close the Window Behavior window.
