iTunes 8: Properly Label Videos as Movie, TV Show, or Music Video

If you have videos that are TV Shows and they show up in Movies, or your Music Videos are in the wrong group then this tech-recipe is for you. By changing the Media Kind value in iTunes, you can have the videos properly classified in both your Library and on your iPod.

1. Open iTunes.

2. Locate the video that needs to be changed and right-click on it.

3. Select Get Info.

4. When the new window opens, select the Options tab.

5. Use the Media Kind drop down to select the correct value. Choices are Movie, TV Show and Music Video.

6. Click the OK button.
