3. Select regedit.exe from the results.

4. When the UAC prompt appears, click the Yes button.

5. In the left pane of the Registry Editor, go to (and select):
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\Video\

6. Right-click in the right-pane.

7. Click New and select the appropriate DWORD for your system.

8. Name the new DWORD EnablePrintScreen.

9. Double-click the new DWORD.

10. In the Value data textbox, input 1.

11. Click the OK button.

12. Restart your computer for the change to take affect.

how do you make this work for a game? i notice that if you tab out of a game or other fullscreen app like that, you can hover over the icons on the task bar (windows 7) and it will give you a small preview of what you are looking at. In all cases where you can see that preview, you can screen capture that window, but in some cases, like in games, the preview is just black. the result is when you screen capture and paste to paint, it is just a black image.
