By default, video does not automatically begin playing when you open it up. By using a simple Terminal command, you can enable AutoPlay and enjoy your movies without having to click Play.

1. Go to the Utilities folder in Applications.

2. Select Terminal.

3. Input the following command:
defaults write com.apple.QuickTimePlayerX MGPlayMovieOnOpen 1

4. Press Enter on your keyboard.
