Android Browser: Start with Most Visited Sites instead of Blank Page

By default, the stock Android Browser always starts-up with a blank page. If you hate typing the webpage address every time you want to visit a site, you can take advantage of the blank screen area at start-up and populate it with frequently visited sites. Continue reading to find out how.

If you are familiar with the start-up screen of mobile browsers like Opera, you will feel right at home after configuring the start-up screen to display your favorite sites. The only down side is that you are not allowed to remove a site from the list.

1. Open the app drawer, and launch the Browser app from there.

2. Once the browser is loaded, tap the menu key on your phone to open its menu. Choose Settings from the menu.
