Internet Explorer 7: How to Uninstall IE7 (Beta Versions and Above)

With every introduction to the newest version of Internet Explorer comes new problems. The following tutorial explains how to uninstall IE7, if you have any issues after you have upgraded from IE6.

You can now uninstall the latest release of IE7 without too much difficulty. It is hidden by default. Here is how to find it.

How to Uninstall IE7:

    1. Go to Control Panel.
    2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
    3. Click the Show Updates checkbox.
    4. Click the version of IE7 you have (for example, “Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview”).
    5. Click the Change/Remove button.
