Microsoft has released a plug-in that shows a cute little graphical represenation of the weather. I describe how to get weather data from MSN Desktop Search as well.

MSN and Microsoft have released a weather plugin for the MSN Search Toolbar in IE.

You can download it here:

If you would like to be able to check the weather from your MSN Desktop Search, this paste this into your Desktop Search Box:

@weather,http://weather.com/weather/local/$w

Then to search you would just type weather zipcode into your Desktop box with zipcode = your actual zipcode. For example, to pull up the weather in Asheville, NC, you would just type in this:

If you always wanted to pull up one zip code, you could just lock the zip code into the original shortcut. For example, this shortcut called myweather would always pull up Asheville's weather:

@myweather,http://weather.com/weather/local/27713
