Free Microsoft Time Zone - View the date and time in various locations

Do you travel around the world? Or do you call loved ones far away? Sometimes it is nice to know what time it is in a different part of the world.

I frequently call my friends in Brazil and England. I can never keep up with what time it really is over there. They are not too happy when I call them at 3 in the morning!

Microsoft now has a freeware tool that sits in your system tray that will help with this problem. You can download it from here:

I love it. My only knock against it is that it requires the .NET runtime to be installed on your system. I wouldn’t install .NET just for this little guy, but it’s a great free gift from Microsoft if you already have .NET installed.

Here is one utility that works better in taskbar by replacing the system clock - http://products.wrconsulting.com/zonetick/en/

It can show multiple clocks simultaneously. No .NET required. Very good on memory. You don't need to click on it to see times elsewhere.

It has skins, too!
