Black Screen or Box when taking Screenshots of Videos in Winamp or Real Player
Posted by David Kirk in Windows
When taking screenshots or video captures of videos, sometime you only see a black box where the video is. Here’s how to correct this in other players such as winamp and real player.
MickeyMouse previously described how to remove the black box from video captures in windows media player. This tutorial describes how to do this with real player, winamp, and other video players.
Stop the Black Vidcaps:
- 1. Click Start button
2. Select Settings
3. Select Control Panel
4. Double-click Display
5. Select the Settings tab
6. Click the Advanced button
7. Click the Troubleshoot tab
8. Click and drag the Hardware Acceleration slider all to the left to None
9. Click the Apply button
8. Click the OK button
This will decrease your video efficency… so change it back after you take your video captures.
