Further listing of MSN Desktop Commands that can help your efficiency.

Building on the idea that many “dos-like” commands can be run from the MSN Desktop Search, here are some further fun things to try.

Try typing these commands. Basically, the idea is that many dos commands can be run by prefacing them with an equal sign. Sadly, not every command that can be used in the RUN box can be used in MSN Desktop Search. (Why the heck not?!?!!?)

Try these:

=cmd Opens a command box
=. Opens your main drive
=c: Opens your C drive
=” Opens My Computer
=calc Opens the calculator
=explorer Opens Microsoft Windows explorer
=magnify Opens Screen magnifier
=msconfig Opens the System Configuration Utility
=msinfo32 Runs the System Information Applet
=mspaint Opens Microsoft Paint
=notepad Runs Notepad
=regedit Runs the Registry editor
=sol Opens the Solitaire game
