MSN Desktop Search: Remove the Green Button

Posted by David Kirk in Windows

Removing the green button will make your desktop search take up a little less room.

When using the desktop search, most people just type the information in and hit ENTER. Nobody really uses that little green button… so remove it!

    1. Right-click the Magnifying glass in the system tray
    2. Select Desktop Search Options
    3. Click Deskbar in the left column.
    4. Uncheck Display Go button
    5. Click OK

The green button will be gone!
