Napster will not let a user download a certain file more than once. Here’s how to stop that.

In order to protect bandwidth, napster does not allow a user to download a file more than once. This works well unless you accidently delete a file. Then what do you do?

You do this:

    1. Exit Napster and click Start
    2. Click Run
    3. In the textbox type: cmd.exe
    4. In the command window type:
    cd \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Napster\bin\ and hit ENTER
    5. type dir and hit ENTER
    6. Rename any bin files listed in the directory with the following command:
    rename db30.bin db30_bin.bak
where db30.bin is the bin file listed in the directory
    7. type exit and ENTER
    8. reload napster

You “library” should now be empty and you can redownload your songs. If you want your library back, just repeat the steps, delete the new *.bin file and rename your bin backup to its original name.

Lust delete them from your library within Napster. Worked for me.

YOu could also go to "View All" files in the library section, highlight them all and press Delete.
