Embedded Animated Images (gifs), Sounds, or Videos not Playing in Web Pages

Have you noticed that embedded media does not work on your system? Here’s how to fix it.

Animated images such as *.gif files have been around forever. Several people have asked me why they can’t view these files on their system. Typically, they have this feature turned off.

Other people have accidently turned off their browser’s ability to use embedded video and audio as well.

Here’s how to enable these media functions in your browser:

    1. Open IE
    2. Click Tools menu
    3. Click Internet Options
    4. Check Play animations in web pages
    5. Check Play sounds in web pages
    6. Check Play videos in web pages
    7. Click OK
