Yes. Home Premium doesn’t have gpedit.

My previous comment just explained how that feature in gpedit works.

In your case, maybe your registry has been corrupted. Actually, you can find freewares and let they do the job, but freewares still work in the same way.

Give them a try and let me know if they work :)

i was trying to find gpedit but it seems windows 7 home premium dosnt have it? am i wrong… where can i find it?

Did it give you any error?

The registry way will not always work. This is because of corrupted registries or they may be conflicted or effected by virus.

Make sure your computer is safe :)

The first method (using gpedit) will modify your registry too! Because it is a feature in Windows, it sure works :)

I already had this folder but I can’t change it because Acer seems to have changed it for me already. Help!

Hi
All you have to do is creat the info and background folders (like the structure:C:WindowsSystem32oobeinfobackgrounds)
Put your image in there,rename it and it will work ;)

this only works for Logon screens, not background………………………….

Hi :)

Don’t change that background.bmp :D
All you have to do is creat the info and background folders (like the structure:C:WindowsSystem32oobeinfobackgrounds)
Put your image in there,rename it and it will work ;)
