IE: Prevent Links Folder from Returning in Favorites after Deletion

Delete the links folder permanently!

You delete the link folder… and then it reappears everytime you restart IE. What a pain… here’s the easy way to get rid of it.

1. Click Favorites menu in IE
2. Click Organize Favorites
3. Right click on the Links Folder and select Properties
4. Select the Hidden checkbox
5. Select Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files if appears
6. Right click on the Links Folder again
7. Select Delete

You are done. Reload IE. The links folder should not reappear. Woop!
