Facebook: How to Prevent FarmVille, FrontierVille, and Other Applications from Appearing in Your News Feed

If you don’t play any of the popular games like FarmVille, Mafia Wars, FrontierVille, etc., it can get quite annoying to get constantly bombarded with posts from your game playing friends. Your News Feed becomes overcrowded with a bunch of junk that you don’t care about. Here’s how to hide these posts and restore order to your News Feed.
1. Go to Facebook and logon to your account.
2. From the Home page, find one of the game generated posts that you wish to hide.
3. Mouseover the post and a Hide button will appear in the upper right corner of the post.
4. Click the Hide button.
5. Select the Hide button for the Game.
The posts will from that application will now be hidden from now on.

I’ve hidden Farmville on my facebook page but it still appears on my blackberry. Not on my facebook page.
