Safari 5: How to Disable Location Services

These days it seems that more and more websites are wanting to know your location. In some instances this can not only become a privacy issue, but one of personal safety as well. You can prevent Safari from allowing websites to ask for your location information and keep your location your business.

1. Open Safari.

2. Go to Safari 5’s Preferences and select the Security tab.

3. Uncheck the Allow websites to ask for location information checkbox.
