i tried to install skype all the way like you have suggested but all the time when i try to install its giving same popup for DEP, i can not install skype please give me feedback

I don’t understand it when I’m told DEP is necessary. How can a security programme be necessary which itself acts like a virus? Who-ever came up with this one has made a complete mess of it, and should now be dealing with it as a matter of urgency, and not letting those who are struggling to cope suffer any more of this stupid incompetence. Meanwhile, will some-one who thinks DEP is a good idea tell me exactly why my other, highly successful, security measures won’t cover the problems not having DEP might cause?

Please Help me anyone,

I have problem DEP, while I print to other computer’s printer in my network ( cannon lbp 1210) ,Showing spooling in Printer box and DEP box, I cannot print because of this problem. I can print other printers in network, and other people can print this printer(Canon LbP 1210)and other printers in network. I can’t print only one this printer(Canon LbP 1210).

Its really helpful dude, i got this problem while using the IE8 for Oracle Apps Purpose, and i just disable it and i don’t know i may work for further with this helpful information or not ………

I am using Windows XP sp2, whenever i connect to internet after a short duration i get DEP, after that Internet connection was disabled until my system was rebooted.. Wat should i do?? Please help regarding this problem….

i cannot open internet explorer because of DEP. i tried as you all wrote to disable the DEP
1. Click Start
2. Select Control Panel
3. Select System
4. Click the Advanced tab
5. In the Performance region select Settings
6. Click the Data Execute tab in the dialog box that opens
7. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except for those I select
8. Click Add.
9. The open dialog box will open. Browse and select your application.
10. Click Open
11. Click Apply
12. Click Ok
13. Reboot

but at the 9th step, when i am opening, its showing in all code language. if i write internet explorer also nothing is coming. i am not very well with computer languages. can you help. even i dont know how to turn it off from bios, as someone advised. pls help.
