Google Talk: How To Block Someone

What if you’re no longer friends with one of your Google Talk contacts, how do you block them so that you don’t have to keep your status as Invisible? By following these steps, you can take away their option to chat with you without having to keep hiding.

1. Go to Gmail and login to your account.

2. Go to the left side of the screen and locate the Google Talk gadget. Click the + to expand Google Talk and view your Google Talk contacts.

3. Mouseover the contact that you wish to block.

4. An option window will appear with the contact’s information. Click on Video & more.

5. Click Block.
