Close Any Pop-Up Window

Be able to close any pop-up window.
The pop-up advertising is getting more and more evil. Sometimes a window will pop-up that has the “close window” controls disabled; thus, it appears that it is impossible to close.
Not so.
When that evil window is the active window, press alt F4 to close it.
