VLC Media Player: How To Take Screenshots from Videos and DVD

Sometimes grabbing screenshots from video or DVD can be a major pain. The VLC Player makes it easy and delivers sharp looking images.
1. Open the desired video or DVD in VLC Media Player.
2. When you come to the place in the video that you want to take the screenshot, press the Pause button.
3. Go to the Menu.
4. Click Video and select Snapshot.
Your screenshot(s) will be saved to the default location set in the VLC video preferences.
