Twitter: How to Delete Your Account

If you’ve tried Twitter and found that it just isn’t your thing, or if you have an extra account that you don’t use, you can delete the account so that someone else can enjoy using that Twitter ID.

1. Go to Twitter and login to your account.

2. In the upper-right corner, select Settings.

3. Select the Accounts tab.

4. Go to the bottom of the page and click the Delete my account link.

5. When the confirmation window appears, click the Okay, fine, delete my account button.
